The Study Visit on the best practices of social economy for youth in Europe was organized in Turin From February 17 to 21. The aim of this visit is to exchange experiences and empower young people for social entrepreneurship, and Turin was chosen precisely because of its long tradition and rich experience in the development of social interventions to help people in need. During the three - day visit, the young people had the opportunity to get acquainted with examples of good practice and the work of several successful socio - economic initiatives. The organizers of the visit are Caritas Italiana and the association S-NODI, whose main goal is to reduce poverty, through the promotion, support and monitoring of innovative activities of the association, social enterprises and the local community.

About 30 representatives of organizations dealing with the development of social entrepreneurship and increasing the employability of young people, as well as representatives of 8 national Caritas from the region, participated in the study visit. Caritas strives to identify needs on the ground and contribute to poverty reduction through various development projects and networking.
