"Employ Yourself - Employment opportunities for youth in social economy" is a project financed by European Union, through the Erasmus Plus Programme - Key Action 2: Capacity Building in the field of youth - Western Balkans window (contract number 2019-1822/014-001)

location

"Employ Yourself" is implemented in 8 countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia.

It started in November 2019 and will last 19 months.

partnership

"Employ Yourself" is leaded by Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other partners are: Caritas Albania, Caritas Bulgaria, Caritas Greece, Caritas Italy, Caritas Kosovo, Caritas Montenegro, Caritas Serbia.

This Caritas partnership is the "roof" for a much larger network of more than 80 youth CSOs and Social Enterprises in the region.

overall objective

Young people and local youth entities from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia are empowered in promoting social and work inclusion of young people through social economy.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE 1

To strengthen capacities of youth organizations in developing social economy perspectives by providing knowledge and skills and exchange of information about the existing best practices.

specific objective 2

To raise awareness and increase knowledge of young people about opportunities offered by social economy in South East Europe.
